Kitchen reno gone wild

What have we been up to

We will try and document what gets done every week. It won't always be exciting or glamorous.

Week 53: Getting Organized

January 4, 2022 by Rob Leave a Comment

After we got home from Ontario and Quebec, dad came to visit. Sarah had to go back to work but my company was closed for the week. I had worked 90% of the time we were in Ontario so this was a good chance to relax and spend time with dad. With Omicron raging and some epic snow dumps we pretty much stayed at home, drank coffee and tried to sort out the basement. Dad's last … [Read more...] about Week 53: Getting Organized

Dad and i managed to get way more done than i expected because we have figured out the process. We also don't try to cut to the closest 1/8th so we have less BS to fuss around with. Dad got in … [Read more...] about Week 46: Soundproofing Sprint

Week 45: Expanding the demo zone

I took a bunch more drywall down this weekend including a bunch of the bathroom. I am not going particularly fast as i am trying to keep the dust down and keep pieces usable for soundproofing. It might not seem like much but this little bathroom was one of the first things that we started renovating when we moved in. It was a disaster and had a funky smell from all of the … [Read more...] about Week 45: Expanding the demo zone
