What have we been up to

Winter seems to have finally arrived and the rain and snow have started. We shouldn't complain though as it has been far too dry this year. I am just glad i am not out there hammering up walls. The big day was Monday and the place was crawling with people as Nickel Bros. showed up to lower the house. The crew was really organized and it came together pretty quickly. So we didn't get the house down on the foundation this week, but we are all set for Monday. The guy from Nickel Brothers came by and got Dean and his guys to add a bit of bracing across the front but that was about it. Wow! It almost looks like a basement now! Lots of lumber arriving and constant sawing and hammering now as the crew can finally start prepping the basement so that we can lower the house.
