Week 80: Mighty Machines
The excavators arrived this week and made short work of the foundation and started digging out the new footprint. The foundation was much easier than anticipated because it didn't have any rebar in it. I'll say it again, i am so happy we are replacing our foundation! They are using 2 diggers. Sort of a lost week this week as we wait for schedules to align. Lift is scheduled for June 22nd so there wasn't a lot for anyone to do this week. Used the down time to get in a decent hike on the North Shore and do some food shopping for my hike next month.
