So we didn’t get the house down on the foundation this week, but we are all set for Monday. The guy from Nickel Brothers came by and got Dean and his guys to add a bit of bracing across the front but that was about it. Dean’s crew kept busy working on the deck and addition framing and i was surprised to see a set of stairs! They are only temporary but it was pretty cool.
My work has been limited to stacking trim ends in the alley for my neighbours who need firewood.
We drove out to a small town called Yarrow on Saturday with Mela to go to a craft fair and went to a nice cafe and had a good walk along the river. It was nice to be out of the suite. We are now talking about being able to move back in March… ouch.
