Last week blew my mind. I went up to Kamloops on the 19th and we left at 6 am on the 20th to drive to Jasper. We then spent the next 7 days hiking the backcountry to Mt. Robson. We had to scrub our initial plan and left the trail a few days early down the closed Mt. Robson trail because the Great Divide Trail was a ton of work and we just weren’t able to make the distance we needed to make to complete the full route we had planned. The good news about coming back early is that I was able to be home for our 27th Anniversary so we went for dinner and i had a lazy weekend puttering around the house and recovering.
I’ll add the full story of the hike later with more photos but here’s a few to give you a bit of a glimpse.
