As i said, our work is a lot more mundane now and we are running out of ways to participate. I took the trusty trailer back to it’s home in Burnaby with a couple of pieces of inflation priced plywood as it has sustained a fair bit of damage in the last year or so. I totaled it up and i have hauled 8960 kg to the dump with the trusty Jetta and the trailer. I was finally learning how to back it up and did a pretty good job parking it if i do say so myself.
With no word on the permits, the builder is running out of prep as well. We are sort of in a frustrating holding pattern which is a drag.
I actually got out for a hike this weekend too. I really need to start training for my trip this summer but with the move and final prep March and April have flown past. The weather has also been pretty crap. It was nice to get into the forest with Mela even if i was woefully unprepared to hike with my pack for the first time in 10 months.
Sarah gets back on Wednesday night and i head to Jakarta on Thursday. She is in for a surprise when she sees the house!
